Responsible for providing the hospital with the interface of Infection Prevention to Environmental Services so that the highest level of infection prevention is provided for the patient population, visitors, guests, and hospital staff. Responsible for conducting daily quality checks, reporting finds to ES/IP management, providing regular infection prevention protocol training for new hires, in-services and for new procedures and acting as liaison to the Infection Prevention and Control Committee. This position also assists the ES/IP Director with special projects.

Performs ultrasound procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including general, vascular, echocardiography and surgical procedures, assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed. Assists radiologist as necessary. Experience with Vascular, Abdomen, and OB. ARDMS and RVT Required.

CLINICAL LIAISON – Full Time day shift

Must have exceptional customer service skills. Act as both a coach and mentor to physicians and clinical staff with regards to EHR/EMR. Duties will include, but are not limited to – training, coaching, maintaining tables and setup, developing test scripts, performing release testing and providing analysis. Works with vendors to resolve issues and provide daily support of physicians/clinical staff issues. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Acts as a subject matter expert, coordinating with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, and ongoing management of various EHR/EMR systems. (Examples include but are not limited to CPSI, Exitcare, Pyxis, Practice Partners/Cortex). Identify and escalate support issues as needed. Maintain tables which drive the use of the software. Must understand the relationships between tables, Data, and the overall ramification of changes. Train and coach employees and physicians on proper software use. Identify and escalate support issues as needed. Maintain CPSI certification as based in CPSI job description. Other duties as assigned. Must be a licensed RN in the state of Kansas.
