REGISTERED NURSE (4 open positions) for the following shifts:
Full Time (36 Hrs wk) split shift 1/3 days & 2/3 nights
2 Full Time (36 Hrs wk) day shift 7am-7pm
Full Time (36 Hrs wk) night shift 7pm-7am
Kansas Licensed RN accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.
CNA Part Time (30 Hrs wk) 5 pm- 11 pm shift
Non licensed individual accountable for providing patient care in collaboration with the registered nurse, for all age groups of patient care.
ATHLETIC TRAINER – Full Time
Responsible for delivering athletic training services at participating schools and for community events as appropriate. Implements the proper referral for further medical attention when necessary. The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist with day-to-day operations; work closely with other staff, physicians, student-athletes, parents, and other clients. Required NATABOC. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.
MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST – Full Time 1:00-9:30 pm shift with a weekend rotation
Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. Requires 4 year Baccalaureate Degree and ASCP Certified or eligible.
PHLEBOTOMIST – PRN (as needed)
Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently. Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed. Responsibilities include bleeding time tests, blood cultures, blood samples.
RN CIRCULATOR – Part Time and PRN – Day Shift (32 hours a week)
Kansas Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.
APRN – Full Time Days – NEUROLOGY
Would serve as pain management case manager for neurologic, orthopedic and chronic pain patients. Background in psychology required.
Cert. Medical Assistant – Full Time – INTERNAL MEDICINE
Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
Insurance Self Pay & Follow Up – Full Time
Responsible for the insurance billing process between the hospital and insurance companies, federal agencies and third party payers. Audits patient accounts to ensure procedure, charges and coding accuracy. Collects payments from commercial insurance companies, state and federal agencies.
Surgery/ES TECH – Full Time Day shift
Performs routine cleaning of Surgery rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms and corridors, according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties.
REGISTERED NURSE – 24 Hrs wk and 36 Hrs wk – Both are day shift; there are also two PRN openings.
Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Dept. that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care and determines priorities on patients needs. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.
NURSING TECH – 30 Hrs wk – Fri, Sat, Sun 3pm-1am shift
Provides nurse assistance in Emergency Department, under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
ULTRASOUND TECH – PRN ARDMS REQUIRED
Performs ultrasound procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including general, vascular, echocardiography and surgical procedures, assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed. Assists radiologist as necessary.
EMERGENCY CLERK – Part Time Day shift (20 hours a week)
Provides indirect patient care in the Emergency Department. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff.
