Patient safety in the medication use system is our number one priority. RMH has invested in the technology of automated medication machines, bedside bar-coding system and sterile compounding equipment to meet this goal.
In addition, the department manages a number of clinical programs. These include renal dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, anti-coagulation, IV to PO, pain management and patient and staff education programs.
