DIETARY SPECIALIST – Part Time (32 hrs wk) Days with weekend rotation. Also need a PRN (as needed)
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Dietary Specialist performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks.
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES – INFECTION PREVENTION TECH – PRN (as needed)
Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, exam rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and department standards. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
FAMILY BIRTH – REGISTERED NURSE – Full Time (36 hrs wk) Days 6:30a – 6:30p
Provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Must be licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
IMAGING – RAD/CT TECH – PRN I
Performs imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography, surgery radiography & CT. Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed. Assist radiologist as necessary.
LABORATORY – MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Weekend Rotations – Monday – Friday 10 – 6:30p (no bonus) or 7a – 3:30p with $2,500. sign on bonus with one year commitment. **Sorry, we are not currently doing sponsorships**
Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. The MT must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.
MEDICAL SURGICAL– REGISTERED NURSE – Full Time (36 hrs wk) Nights 6:30p – 6:30a
Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.
NURSING ADMINISTRATION – NURSING SUPERVISOR
Full Time (36 hrs wk) Nights 6:30p – 6:30a & PRN II
The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-Call. Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas.
TRAUMA REGISTRAR RN
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT – TRAUMA REGISTRAR RN
Full Time (36 hrs wk) Days Monday – Friday
Supports the Trauma Service Department, Quality Department and Ransom Memorial Hospital by coordinating various clinical data collection initiatives for performance improvement, state reporting, designation, national reporting, and American College of Surgeons (ACS) Trauma Center verification. Demonstrates knowledge of data analysis and quality improvement in performance of these duties. May serve as site coordinator for the National Trauma Data Bank and report outcomes as directed. Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas.
