Cardiac Dysrhythmia

Cardiac Dysrhythmia is a pre-requisite if you are planning on taking ACLS. It can also be used as a refresher for anyone who is interested. There is no pre-test for this course. A post-course assessment is included in this course.

Contact Hours

This class is eight (8) contact hours.

Prerequisites:

There are no pre-requisites for this class.

What You Will Learn:

  • Identify and understand cardiac anatomy and physiology.
  • Explain the conduction system of the heart in relation to the EKG monitor pattern.
  • Analytically recognize basic supraventricular and ventricular dysrhythmias on EKG.
  • Identify life threatening dysrhythmias that call for implementation of American Heart Association ACLS algorhythm directed treatment.

Class Fees

No cost to RMH Staff/Affiliates
Non-RMH Staff/Affiliates $64
Registration is considered complete once payment is received.

Cancellation

A full refund will be given if cancellation is made within 48 hours of scheduled class. No refund will be given after the 48-hour deadline except in case of emergency. A $50.00 payroll deduction will be applied for no call/no show. Full refunds are given if RMH cancels the class.

Book Fee (if not returned):

RMH Staff/Affiliates: If the book is not returned at the conclusion of the class, you will be charged a $50 book fee by payroll deduction.

Non-RMH Staff/Affiliates: The cost of the book is included in the class fee.
